《Steam F12 Hotkey Change Guide》
If pressing the F12 hotbar key in-game accidentally triggers Steam's screenshot function, follow the steps below to change Steam's "Take Screenshot" hotkey and prevent it from conflicting with game controls.
Note: This guide uses the Steam desktop client as an example. If the Steam interface is updated, menu names may differ slightly, but the setting location should remain similar.
Step 1: Open Steam Settings
Click "Steam" in the upper-left corner of the Steam window, then select "Settings" from the drop-down menu.

Step 2: Go to In Game Settings
After opening Steam Settings, select "In Game" from the menu on the left. On the right side, find the "Take a screenshot" hotkey under the "SCREENSHOT" section.

Step 3: Change the Hotkey or Set It to None
Click the hotkey field currently showing "F12". Steam will open the "Set Shortcut" window.
If you want to keep Steam's screenshot function, press a new hotkey combination directly. We recommend choosing a key that will not affect game controls. If you want to disable the Steam screenshot hotkey, click the "X" on the right side of the field so it displays "None."

Step 4: Confirm the Setting
After finishing the setup, click "Confirm" to save. After this, pressing F12 in-game will no longer trigger Steam screenshots.
Notes
•If you still want to keep Steam screenshots enabled, change the hotkey to a combination that does not conflict with the in-game hotbar.
•If the change does not take effect immediately, restart Steam or re-enter the game to check again.
•For in-game screenshots, use the game's own screenshot hotkey and save location.
